*With the help of the phys. ed. teachers, Mrs. Branstetter's class will be leading a fundraiser called "Our Hearts Pump For Haiti" to raise money for the Red Cross to help provide the people of Haiti with the food, water, medicine, and supplies they need.
*Any 8th grader interested in submitting a design for the 8th grade T-shirt should do so by January 29th. Turn in your design, for the front and back of the Class of 2014 T-shirt to Mr. Huntsberger. 8th graders will then vote on a winning design. The winner gets a free class T-shirt and DVD.
*From the Music Dept:
First rehearsal for Honor Choir will be next Thursday, Jan. 28 from 2:30 - 4:00.
All choir and women's chorus members should bring $10.00 for choir t-shirts by next Friday, Jan. 29th.
*"Notes to Friends" for the Valentine's Day issue of the Jr. Chieftain News will go on sale Monday, January 25th and Tuesday, January 26th at lunch for 25 cents. Don't forget your quarter Monday and Tuesday!
